Dr. Michael Spence developed a special interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation when his grandmother suffered a debilitating stroke and needed intense rehabilitation to help her regain functionality. He received his Medical Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Spence is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His decision to start his practice in this area was based on his familiarity with Northwest Indiana. Dr. Spence attended St. Thomas More Catholic School and graduated from Munster High School. He and his staff are committed to effectively managing pain while treating the underlying causes.
